An art plan for the new headquarters building of Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. in the Shiodome district. Works were selected for their refined, weightless quality, in keeping with the delicate design of the architecture. The white suspended sculpture by Maurice Joosten (Netherlands) — his first work in Japan — presents a different impression from every angle, expressing the uninterrupted passage of time. The paintings by Isao Sato, built up from many layers, sit well against the walls of the vertically continuous atrium.
