Summary

The second exhibition at azumagaoka articulation, a mixed-use facility created by renovating several long-unused houses. Against a backdrop in which the pandemic had cut people off from one another, the exhibition focused on the fact that within each person a continuous stream of thoughts and feelings nonetheless persists, and on the idea that those individual thoughts and feelings are what shape an era and a society. Holding in mind the crossing of the subjective and the objective – “it might be you, and it might be me” – the exhibition turned its attention to the thoughts and feelings of people that cannot be seen.
