Summary
Support for formulating the management and operation policy of the new Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art, which is scheduled to relocate to Ohori Park in Fukuoka during fiscal 2029. The new museum, designed by Kengo Kuma, will have a substantially larger total floor area and expanded facilities. Alongside continuing the research and exhibition activities of the current Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art, the new museum plans to run exhibitions in contemporary art and other new fields, deliver art projects, work with the local community and the residents of the prefecture, and train art communicators. offsociety examined how these activities should be shaped and delivered, and compiled the findings as the museum’s management and operation policy.
