Osaka Prefecture New Art Spot Project

Summary

A project of Osaka Prefecture aimed at creating new art spots that would raise the appeal of the city and draw visitors. Our work included research into methods for installing and managing artworks in public spaces and inside facilities, a survey of existing public art and other works in public spaces across Osaka Prefecture, case studies of public art in Japan and abroad, study of possible sites, preparation of a draft plan, and review of project costs.
